“Apple MFi Certified? Amazon has several lightning charge/sync cable for $9-12 that are Apple MFi Certified. I don't see anything about guaranteed compatibility on Insignia. I have had problems with non-certified lighning cables, so it does seem like it matters.”

I really don’t care about certs, even in hiring. My criteria is whether or not something/someone is useful. This cable is rugged, compact, and useful.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The one I just bought had the iPhone, iPad Apple insignia on the bottom of the box. If your product has this there shouldn't be any issues, haven't had any with mine. Just don't buy the cheap cables at the gas station and you should be fine.
