• Yes the Insignia brand cords have a 1 year warranty. I keep the box and receipt in my car trunk knowing full well it will be needed to prove the purchase. Customer service reps may balk at swapping it out. Then explain the one year warranty and that insignia is THEIR product.

• The warranty if one would be the manufacturer. The rate in which these cables fail there may not a manufacturers warranty.

• It very well could have a warranty through insignia but you would have to deal with it through them, not Best Buy.
