However, your Xbox One console is equipped with three usb ports: one on the side and two in the rear. I have my external hard drive plugged into a rear port and I use my side one to recharge my controller. Additionally, you can use usb extenders(usb's that plug into a usb port and offer anywhere from 2 to 5 extra usb ports to use) on your Xbox One too. These cost roughly $8-$20 a piece.
