• This will work with any size phone in a case or without a case. The mount expands horizontally and vertically with tension on the vertical so the phone doesn't fall off.

• I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 phone in an Otterbox case and it fit fine. Of course, it may depend on the type of Otterbox case you have on your phone. I have an Otterbox Symmetry Series case. But if you have a phone similiar in size to the S6. You should be fine.
