“I recently purchased this speaker and it won't connect to my new laptop, my iPhone or my kindle fire hd 8. It will immediately connect however to my 5-year-old kindle. Confused. Thanks.”

I have had this connected to my computer, Ipod, samsung phone, and it has been easy. You have to make sure bluetooth is on whichever device you select, and I think you can only have it connected to one device at a time. So if you have it connected to a kindle, you will have to disconnect from that to connect it to another device like your phone, laptop, etc. Plus whatever device you are using can only connect to one device at a time, so if you have your phone, laptop, etc. connected to something else, you will have to disconnect from them to connect to this speaker. Switching back and forth is fairly easy.
