Will this case work well with the series 2, 38mm? null

yes & no. the case fits perfectly on the apple watch series 2 however it seems the case was designed for the series 1 as it covers the 2nd mic & speaker. i used to a nail clipper to widen the holes so they do not cover up the 2nd speaker/mic found on the series 2. luckily that area faces towards my wrist so it cant even been seen.
