Yes, that was one of my concerns too. As a soft-ish case it covers all corners but as someone who is extremely hard on phones and cases I purchased a glass screen cover as extra protection/insurance.

Please try again later.Yes, there's a little bit of a lip around the very edge on the front of the phone that would give some protection if the phone is dropped screen first onto the pavement. It's sort of rubbery so has some give to it, not rigid plastic like some cases. I like it!

Please try again later.The edge of this case sticks up very little past the surface of the screen, maybe a millimeter, so if it falls on something completely flat, the case will hit first. Even then, depending on the height of fall, the case will probably compress for a split second, and there is a chance the screen will touch the ground. But if it's something bumpy like asphalt that has rocks in it, the protruding rocks will very likely get to the screen. If you are prone to dropping your phone, this case may not be the best option for you.
