• You answered your own question you need a filter this is just a straight coupler not the dsl filter you need

• No. Not a DSL Filter, only a coupler, i.e. to connect two similar wires to each other, usually to make a longer overall wire.

• No, this is RJ-45, not RJ11. So this is not the coupler for DSL filter.
