“Would the reception be good in a exposed basement apt?”

• Yes, I have used mine in a basement and away from an outside window and it works fine. I used it during a power outage caused by a severe thunderstorm.

• The reception on this little radio is actually quite good. It would depend on your elevation and what kind of area you live in. Radio reception is dependent on line of sight to the antenna. Check your vehicle and if your vehicle receives well for that frequency ,this radio should also. Hope this helps.
