“Will using "pause" hurt the CD player? I listen to audiobooks on CD. When I turn the boombox off and then on again later on, the CD goes back to track 1. The only way I can "keep my place" is to "pause." Will it hurt the boombox CD function if it's on "pause" for a long time? My previous CD boombox would automatically start at the last track listened to after being shut off.”

• I do not believe it will cause harm to use the pause. Also this unit restarts where it left off in my experience.

• It should not hurt the boombox and it willl continue at place you've paused it.. After our aerobic section of exercise we paused to count pulse and then start it up again, of course this isn't an extended time!

• I've used pause for interruptions like phone calls with no difficulty. Only experiencewith shorttimes.
