What’s the purpose of the usb in the photograph null

The USB dongle is the required transceiver to do wireless functions. It works like any other USB keyboard on an Xbox USB port. It does NOT use the controller built-in wireless signal at all.

It pairs through the usb dongle.

It has a USB dongle that u remove from the chat pad and insert into the USB port on your xbox. This allows your chat pad to communicate with the xbox.

you can use this to (1. connect to an xbox console and play without batteries just by using a USB-C to USB-A cable, (2. if you have a charge pack you can charge the batteries using it (3. can connect it to a PC to play pc games (4. connect it to your console to install any controller updated drivers
