I tried that with a Samsung tablet and it didn’t work for me. I’m using an Amazon fire stick to stream and/or mirror devices. Also the USB port does not recognize video formats like MP4. It’s really a limited projector. It supposed to be portable but without basic features like those you need to carry with a DVD or a laptop with HDMI, which some not even have that, if you are camping.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you would need to convert to HDMI since the projector has no wireless capability. So, usb-c to HDMI or similar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not tried but I don’t see why not
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here is a picture of the connections available on the projector. It also says you can do screen mirroring. I have a samsung phone and used smartview which is built in to my phone menu. I have not tried on the device as of yet but have on a small sony bluray player that had that feature. It comes with one hdmi cable. One vga cable with headphone jack. It does have a AV port looks like the size of a headphone jack. It does have 2 usb ports. But hooking a cable to my phone had no results. It shows photos and music in usb mode only. One headphone jack. It worked great with my bluray. I guess you could try a hdmi to usb-c that would probably work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would go with the hdmi. It should work as you are just selecting the hdmi input on the projector at that point.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can only use this product to connect to a USB and HDMI enabled devices. Dina | Insignia Support | https://www.insigniaproducts.com/contact-us
