Can't answer your first question, as I've only hit the snooze button twice at the most. You can also choose to set the second alarm to go off Can't answer your second question, as I only hit the snooze button twice, then got up, shutting the alarm off. Other times I awake to the radio. The alarm will only be as loud as you set it to be. It seems a bit 'soft' to my ears. Not progressive.

The alarm can be snoozed repeatedly for up to 59 minutes. After 59 minutes of snoozing, the alarm will stop going off. The alarm volume is not progressive; it goes off at the set volume level immediately. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask! - Mae | Insignia Support
