it should work on either. If the Mac has a DisplayPort built-in to it, then this will work.

Very surprised to see the rather ridiculous answers on here (no, this isn't a usb adapter..., no this is not tied to working on a specific OS...). This is just a passive port adapter. If your machine has a display port, this will work with it. Macs don't typically/ever have a display port, so odds are you won't be using this with a Mac.

You can use it on both a mac or pc Keep in mind you will still need a separate hdmi cable. This adapter convert your display port slot into an hdmi slot. So you will still need an hdmi cable .Or they have a display port to hdmi cable that eliminates the need for the seperate cable.

This adapter should work fine, with either PC or Mac.

Probably for PC only since most MAC laptops use the mini-display port not the full size on on this device.

The device is just a powered usb hub. As long as your usb devices are formatted to the device you are using [Mac or PC] then no problems.
