“Will I get sound If I use this to connect my PC to my TV will I get sound coming out of the TV or just the PC?”

• Yes, the sound is also transferred to the TV. I have my TV connected to a sound system and it comes through fine.

• Displayport functions like hdmi and carries sound. So the output will be hdmi output

• Yes, when you use a HDMI cable the audio and video signal is transported in that single cable. So to answer your question yes the sound will come out of the TV

• The sound will come out of the TV. The display port output carries the same data as HDMI (video and sound).

• Yes you will get sound via the TV when you use this. If it just plays sound from the PC then you need to play around with the sound settings in the control panel (if your using windows).

• This adaptor is video only. The DisplayPort coming from the computer only supports video, not sound.

• Because DisplayPort is video only, you will need a different adapter to carry the audio to the TV.
