• No, it is a display port not an hdmi on the one end. Display ports do have splitters but laptops typically do not have display ports. There are HDMI splitters but you have to look at the laptop to see if it will support more than one monitor at 1440.

• Probably not as it doesn't even support above 1080p, I would guess above 120hz or even above 75hz that it is unstable and will not consistently work. Also its not a splitter, splitters split the source to 2 monitors/TVs.
