I purchased this adapter to connect my HP laptop with my HP monitor but it doesn't work. However the same adapter works when I connect to my Insignia monitor. Does this adapter doesn't support HP monitors at all? null

Small oval to hdmi didn't work for me ,because needs powerboard to support ,so I used USB adapter to hdmi to tv work great ,plug and play.

I tried the adapter on my HP Elitebook and it didn’t work either. Then I moved it to my Dell desktop and it worked. It think it may be firmware limitations or compatibility issue depending on the age of your laptop. The adapter doesn’t care lol
