• No, and that is my only real criticism of this product. The built-in speaker is completely worthless and there is no way that I've found to connect an external audio source.

• You can hook the sound to whatever device you are doing - if a phone, through the headset port since the projector connects via the mini usb or we are using a DVD player with it and connecting via the RCA cables to a separate speaker.
