• The docking station is not compatible with an iPhone 6 (or 5). It has a 30-pin connector, not the lightning connector - it is compatible with iPhone 4 and older iPods. You could use the auxiliary connection or purchase a 30-pin to lightning adapter to connect your phone, but you can get a clock-radio compatible with iPhone 6 for less money than this model plus adapter.

• Yes, devices charge through a USB cable, which worked good with my iPhone 6.

• No, this uses the older 30 pin Apple connection, not the newer lightning connection.
