• Not sure. I have hero 7 so it doesn’t need an additional casing

• This is opposite of the GoPro tripod mount, it has the 2 tab mount that is made to attach to a 3 tab mount. The GoPro camera case is a two tab that would normally attach to a 3 tab like the GoPro tripod mount is designed for. It might still work but kind of funky, I wouldn't do it.
