The bracket would definitely hold it. I personally would add 2 additional bolts using Toggle screws if you arent able to hit studs.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I thought the same thing. Suprising its very sturdy. The kit comes with different length bolts. Make sure to use the longest one possible without bottoming out the threads on the back of the tv. Get the most thread contact possible.
