“We just found out that the studs in our bedroom are just over 26 inches apart and the mount we bought literally falls short. Can anyone give me the width of the wall bracket itself?And if the holes to drill the lag screws are a minimum of 26 inches apart?”

• The wall mount is centered for 16" studs.

• I don’t remember but we couldn’t use existing holes. Instead centered mount over stud and drilled two holes through steel plate. Worked great. The bracket held my 200 lbs with no problem. TV weights 44 lbs. all is good. Had the Geek Squad installed.
