• This is not a high end adapter. It is also not compatible with devices requiring a ground (third prong). Light duty only. I had no problem charging my iPhone X in South Africa though. If you intend to use a hair dryer, I would look to a better adapter than this. Light and easily portable but not compatible with the round recessed outlets in some European areas. This item is not a transformer, If your device doesn't automatically switch from 110v to 220v, you'll need a transformer too.

• Yes, it will work with your hairdryer, Where we went the voltage is 220. It’s just an adapter you put on the end of your plug on your hair dryer, and plug it into their outlets. You will know which one to use buy the hole configuration.
