“How grippy is this case compared to the phone itself? Does the material seem slippery, or is it easy to hold? Also, how high does it come up above the screen? Thanks!”

Yes it’s grippy and won’t slide off a table. I have had no problems holding it while multitasking. Also good to hold between neck and shoulder during calls!

Please try again later.It is a slicker hard plastic - so not grippy, and it is pretty low profile, so not real high off the screen if you have a screen protector on it (less than a credit card thickness above the screen w/a protector on). As one reviewer noted it doesn't come that far off the camera area either. It does have these little low profile "bumpers" about a quarter inch long around the curved part of the corners so the back doesn't lay flat. They are about the thickness of a credit card. Also, after a while the plastic on the back starts to chip and the slivers of plastic can give you a bit of a stab sometimes.
