There are 20 presets. The presents can be FM or HD. If the preset is the main program of an FM station broadcasting in HD, the radio will automatically switch to the HD-1 signal after about 2 seconds. But any preset can go to an FM station that does not broadcast in HD and any preset can go to an HD2 or HD3 or (if any exist) HD4 channel.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The Insignia model NS-HDRAD (15F24 series) has 20 presets that can to set to any FM station. (Analog, HD or RBDS) A feature I use is the HD seek. It allows sequencing in the HD signals for a particular station, ie; HD-1, HD-2, etc. on that radio station.

Please try again later.On the Best Buy website, these are the preset specs: Number Of AM Presets 0 Number Of FM Presets 10 Number Of HD Radio Presets 10 Mine has 20 preset numbers, some are FM and some are FM HD. I never counted them to see if only 10 are HD. This radio does not have any AM capability. Where I live some of the AM stations are now re-broadcasting on HD 2 or 3 of other stations, probably because they're owned by the same company.

This radio does not receive am radio unless one of the fm stations has an am station on HD2, HD3, or HD4. In my town there is KYW Newsradio which is 1060 on am and it appears as an HD channel on one of the fm stations.

With no remote, you will have to surf them one at a time, in the order you saved them. OOPS, you don't have 20 saved, then you will get #*! unknown stations or static.
