Yes, The Insignia HD Radio is both AC and battery operated (4 AA). It has a digital display and can memory preset 20 stations (both HD or analog). It has a great speaker and 3.5 mm headphone jack. It has 3 modes, analog, HD and the new RBDS (radio broadcast data system) that show the song and other radio station info. Well worth the price.
