I would think cables should work . As long as the Insignia output (Head phone jack) is connected to an audio in jack. I bought a little FM transmitter (FIFO Transmitter- it takes AAA batteries so there is no need to wait for it to recharge) it has a little 3.5 mm plug. I just plug it in to the headphone jack on the Insignia radio and transmit the signal to a Bose wave radio. That way I don't need more cables and it works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the HD radio will out put sound through the 3.5mm jack and you can adapt that into the stereo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I expect that would work but haven't tested it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure but I have done something similar. To enhance the sound from a small TV, I connected the TV's earphone jack to the AUX input on the radio. (To do this, I needed to purchase for about $5 a cable with two 3.5 mm male stereo jacks at either end.) This has worked fine. It also allows me to control the sound with the TV's remote.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but it's not going to work well, the Sony expects a different impedance than what the headphone jack has.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This particular radio I gave to a family member, so unsure. I have another one (its a SONY), very similar, and I do it with that one.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I think so. I actually am using the 3.5 mm headphone jack to connect the radio to a pair of computer speakers, and that works. And yes, that does provide a better sound quality and more stereo separation than the internal speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! I actually do this in my car. My car radio went out so I have a computer speaker system in the back. I keep the radio in the front and run the cable to the speakers in the back.
