No, but there is a different version for going from standard audio output to HDMI. This one does the opposite... it converts the HDMI signal to standard audio.

Hi there,
It will work if the Sony handicam has HDMI output and the new TV has AV IN port. This converter supports HDMI INPUT only. It doesn’t support HDMI OUTPUT. You may check www.bestbuy for product compatiblity.
