This is a straight HDMI Output to RCA Input Converter. It's basically for old TVs, Projectors that only have RCA input jacks, but your device (Roku, Firestick, etc only have HDMI output connectors). But it works great. I've used it on my old TV with only RCA Jacks. I'm able to use both my new Roku and my Amazon Firestick.
