Yes, that is somewhat misleading. It does NOT come with an RCA cable. You have to purchase your own. Also, with this particular model, there are no selectable input switches. This is a straight HDMI Output to RCA Input Converter. But it works great. I've used it on my old TV with only RCA Jacks. I'm able to use both my new Roku and my Amazon Firestick.
