I've been using composite video to connect both my Blue-Ray and digital decoder to a big Magnavox TV. Works great! When I switch to HDMI (so I can add streaming), then back to composite video with this, I get sound but no picture! What's the problem? null

Victor. I've used both Composite to HDMI and HDMI to Composite converters and they work great. Never had a audio or video failure.
When converting to HDMI there is a switch that selects 720P or 1080P. Be sure its in the correct position.
When converting to Composite be sure there is a video signal on the output you are using and use good quality HDMI cables.
