“I have an old Pioneer Laserdisc player with analog connections as well as S-video. Currently hooked up to an old Samsung HDTV with analog connections. The TV has died. Can this device be used to connect the Laserdisc player to a newer Samsung LED TV?”

• I can only guess here but I think it should as long as one component has RCA/analog connections and the other has HDMI/digital.
