• Yes. I have a Samsung TV and That is what I do when I work out on my rowing machine. Its great! I have an android and it connects to that too

• It's a receiver, not a transmitter. I suspect that the answer is no. Having said that, there are transmitters that you can purchase that will accomplish what you want to do. Using mine to receive signal from an iPhone. Beats solo 2.
