Yes, the exterior zipper pocket has room for battery, cord, and mouse (if you use one).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's a nice sleeve. It fits a 15.6 laptop pretty snugly. There is not really enough room for the transformer and cord. It barely fits and looks bulky. There is only 1 other zippered pocket other than the main compartment for your laptop. That's where I have to fit my cord/transformer. Would be perfect with a little more room. If I do not need to bring my cord/transformer it is perfect. PS- there are not plenty of pockets as someone mentioned above, only the two. Purchased July 16, 2019
