• The ballast circuit (that regulates the current flow) has three settings. Quick-tap the power button to switch modes.

• Without 'googling' your question, I don't know what that is. I can tell you that there are 3 modes to this flashlight. Mode 1: highest output Mode 2: reduced light output (for battery conservation) Mode 3: strobe light flashing (for emergency)

• No it's direct drive which is why it can have such a long runtime, that it progressively gets dimmer.
