I bought this for the same reason, unfortunately i did not realize this device is "Micro" so i cant use it to down load anything to my computer unless i can find a "USB" adapter to attach to it. i did recently order the " Insignia™ - USB 3.0 Memory Card Reader" from best buy. just currently awaiting its arrival. i hope this has helped you.
