Typical Insignia product, works as it should, easy to use, faster USB 3.0 connection, which is great. We've had no issue with failure. Short connection cable, but not a big deal, useful for laptops where you don't want a long cord.

I recently purchased a new laptop that did not have an SD Card Reader. I was pleasantly surprised to find the "Insignia™ - Micro USB Memory Card Reader" on sale and purchased it. The reader has a Micro USB connector, which is great for my laptop, however, I have to use a USB-C adapter to connect to my cellphone. I'm am pleased with the performance of the reader and would recommend it to whoever is anticipating buying a reader.

The memory card reader is very affordable, small for easy carry, and easy to use.

I was a bit disappointed at first because I couldn't get anything out of it. I waited a bit and it fired right up. It is perfect for letting me make use of the hundreds of sd cards that I have accumulated over the years. It is convenient and light weight and I can easily pack it away. Awesome device!

Easy to use, affordable, small, well worth the money

Easy to transfer photos or video from Phone to card and then to computer; or from computer to your phone. It is small does not take up much space and gets the job done.

Excellent unit worked with all the newer cards my older readers would not read consistently. A micro to usb adaptor makes this perfect for my PC also. It has worked flawlessly

This product was just what I needed to check the photos from my deer camera! Instead of having to go all the way home to check my pictures, I could check and upload them right on the spot! Works great!

I bought this for our game camera's and wanted to view and edit pics without having to use PC. Works on my phones, it is a bit complex if you arent tech savy. If using a Samsung phone you must go to my files, connect to SD adapter then select DCIM images. Overall for the price, its a great device.

Purchased this to be able to view puctures from a full size sd card on my phone. I am very pleased with this product and have had no issues the several times i have used it.

Helps to pay attention that this has a micro USB plug on the end, not a standard USB. The good news is, you can connect it any non-Apple tablet or phone with that connector. The bad news is if you bought it cause your PC doesn’t have any SD card reader built in (that would be me). They make micro USB - standard USB adapters though. Also, it’s read everything I’ve tried.

I use this to check out the security camera SD card. Quick, convenient size and works as expected

works fine with my Samsung android phone . The 3 stars instead of 4 is because you cannot swipe to look at all the photos . You must go back to the photo tiles each time to select photo to view . Still makes easier to check my game cams in the woods . all in all I am happy with this purchase .

The requirements: 1) This connects through MICRO-USB port (e.g. certain charging ports for certain cell phones) - check your port first, obviously buying a device that won't connect will disappoint you. 2) The cell phone must have an OS that supports "USB on the go" (most modern cell phones will have this) I use this device to connect extra storage to my phone for my own digital copies of TV shows and movies; this prevents me from having to consume memory on the phone. I simply transfer the file onto an SD card, plug the card into this reader, and then plug the reader into my device. I can watch on (or cast from) my phone. Nothing extra is required except for software/hardware to support casting to TV. If you are making photos/videos with another device (and storing on an SD card) you can use this adapter to review the SD contents on your phone. It's a perfect device that does exactly what it is supposed to.

This card reader works great with my LG G4. I love that it is plug and play, no app needed.

Works great for viewing pictures from trail camera sd card on your phone. Plugs into usb charging port on phone and easy as 123, you've got your photos and videos. It's fast and easy to use. Was using a game trail sd card reader but they are very expensive and in less than a year it stopped working. This is easier, cheaper and less junk to carry around in the mountains.
