Make sure you have the Display setting to "mirror"
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.1. Go to "System Preferences" either via "Dock" or by clicking "Apple" logo on the top left corner 2. Go to "Displays" -> Choose your Display other than "built-in". E.g. I have connected my MacBook Air to LCD 32 inch LG HDTV 3. So choose your external Display --> You should see three tabs : [Display] [Arrangement] [Color] --> [Display] Tab is selected by default. 4. Below "Refresh Rate : " option, you will see "Underscan : " --> This will have a Selectable Bar with "Off" on right to "More" on left. 5. Choose your level by moving an Arrow, to fit the screen of your MacBook Air to your external Display that you have attached using this MiniDisplay/ Thunderbolt to HDMI Adapter cable. Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the same computer as you do, and I don't have any issues. Play with the settings on your monitor...sounds like the problem is w/ the monitor, not the connection. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My daughter's non-retina MB works just fine with this. She's running Lion and I've used it with Mavericks and Yosemite, all with no problem. I'd borrow another (i.e., Apple) adapter to verify the problem is in the adapter. I'd also make sure all the updates to the OS are current. There could be a driver problem if you have an older version of OSX.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Change the resolution of the computer to see if this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to go into your displays in preferences and select the correct format for your screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to adjust the settings under "Display". Then it will fit your screen correctly. If that doesn't help, get it as close as possible with your Mac settings and then adjust your tv settings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That is a problem with the format of the monitor. You should look for mentions of it in forums online for the fix. My Samsung monitor did the same till I made adjustments.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You probably need to change your resolution on your computer to smaller resolution example 2100 or 1900 to 1500 or 1300 play around with resolution to see maximum you can use
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to adjust the output resolution on the computer, or the aspect ratio on the TV, as the cable itself has no settings or adjustments.
