• Depends on your iMac. This will not work with thunderbolt iMacs (2011-2017). If you have an older iMac with a regular mini display port and capable of target display mode, it will work. The last model, I believe, was the mid 2010 27". If I am wrong please let me know.

• This adapter does not allow you to use a PS4 and iMac together. This is only useful if you are looking for an additional screen. It will not allow you to turn your iMac into a monitor and play a PS4 or any other HDMI device.
