Have you changed the output settings? Go to the top left of your mac to that little apple logo then to System preferences -> Sounds -> output -> choose desired output (either the HDMI cable/TV or you can plug in other speakers). Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We had to go into the sound on the Mac and select sound to go to tv monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Does video and audio from a Surface Pro 2, can only assume it would through a macbook but I have no experience with apple products.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it should be able to. If it is not, try going to Apple > System Preferences > Sound > Output(tab), and make sure your TV is selected as the sound output device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same problem. You first have to change it under your settings and then if it ever happens again after just unplug the cord from your computer and plug it back in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works for me on my Mac Book, but it isn't the AIR, just the normal Apple laptop, and it works for me on my Microsoft Surface, same adapter. I get both video and audio. Maybe it is a setting in the SOUND options of your Air?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so. It would be nice if it did. Lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, the Mini Display Port only outputs video, so the adapter does not receive any audio signal to work with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This product is only meant to be used as a video signal only. If you want audio signal to your tv look for an adapter that would go from your headphone jack to the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
