Please try again later.Hi, I went to HP and looked up you laptop and according to the owners manual its supposed to be a full size HDMI port but...... since you have tried to plug your cable into the laptop and the HDMI port was to small it is possible that it has changed. To the best of my knowledge there are three plug types that HDMI comes in. 1) Micro HDMI , 2) Mini HDMI, and HDMI. Micro HDMI is very small (approximately the size of mini usb plug found in old school flip phones). HDMI is the standard full size plug found on TV's and things like that. Mini HDMI is roughly half the size of a standard HDMI plug. So...... If Micro HDMI is too small and HDMI is to large, That leaves Mini HDMI as my best guess without seeing it. Good luck!
