It needs a tv
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No amplification required. It has a range of 40 to 50 miles. It replaced my old 2009 amplified antenna which I only able to receive 24 channels. The Insignia Model NS-ANT715 antenna gives me now 42 channels. I was amazed how well it works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m about 20 miles from my local broadcast antenna and without a booster, I receive their signal very well at all hours of the day.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a basic antenna for digital air wave signals. Reception depends on location and signal strength. Just make sure your tv has a built in digital decoder for the signal, most newer tvs do. If not you will need to purchase a separate decoder box. The govt gave them away for free back when the air waves were switched from analog to digital. But now you have to purchase one if your tv can't decode the signal. If you don't know, you just hook up the antenna cable to the back of the tv and go into its menu and run a channel scan. This will take a few minutes before it will start finding channels so don't give up right away. My tv took about 3-4 minutes until it found the lower end broadcast channels like CBS and NBC etc.
