• I connected this antenna to my Sony tv and it doesn’t work. So much for simple solutions.

• Yes. It is an HD (ATSC signal) antenna, so for the input side of your ATSC (HD) to NTSC (480 Analog) converter it would work. But if digial signals are weak where you are it may not be the best choice. This antenna is not very good at all at picking up weaker ATSC signals.

• This antenna is digital signal so I'm not sure why you need a converter box, I just have mine directly to my TV and it works great!!!
