• It has a range of 40 to 50 miles. Placing the Insignia antenna near a window provides better reception. My old 2009 amplified antenna only picked up 24 channels. With the Insignia Model NS-ANT715 I am now able to get 42 channels, most are crisp and clear. I reside near Syracuse, NY and able to get some additional channels from Utica, NY which is 52 miles east of Syracuse. It functions very well and worth the price of $19.99.

• If you can place it outside and at a height of 10 feet or more(this item isn’t supposed to be used outdoors.. but go for it). Such as a roof. Interference is always going to happen when using an indoor antenna -indoors.
