That doesn't sound like a hot key problem, that sounds like a problem within the program you are typing in. Are you using Word Processing? Most word processing programs have what I call "key series" that work like this - Should you type a particular series of keys, you may erase previously typed lines, erase words up until the previous period, or even erase a full paragraph. I can't remember where to look on Word to find these, but start with Preferences and work your way through the settings. Somewhere it will tell you what the sequence or series is. And other programs will have the explanation in their "set up" or "preferences" I believe.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It sounds like you accidentally hit the INSERT key! I would 'line yourself up' with the keyboard & you shouldn't have any problems with hitting keys like the insert & delete keys! I find it is very important to make sure you are 'squared' in front of the keyboard & then you shouldn't have any problems! Some people use 2 or 3 fingers to type & this will be a recipe for disaster & it is prone to hitting the wrong keys! I went to school to learn to type the correct way & I've never had a problem like you are alluding to!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Do you have it sitting on top of your old laptop keyboard?
