• I don't see why not. You won't use the splitter just use direct tv's wire to transmit signal into your home.

• Why not? If you're not using direct TV, you don't need the splitter.

• The pole will work if it's high enough to give you a clear shot at your stations signal. Remember this isn't satellite. Not sure about the splitter.
