“Does anyone know why this speaker sometimes makes a brief ringing/beeping noise right after it is turned on/at random? I'm not talking about the power-on noise, and no, I'm not getting a phone call when it does it.”

I am not completely sure, just a guess...maybe it makes the sound when it finds a device to pair up with and the sound is to let you know it got connected? Mine made a sound when I set up my ipod to connect...don't remember the exact sound though.
