Can you turn off bluetooth pairing? Is it possible to turn off the bluetooth pairing function when you have it connected through the audio jack, so that it won't run down the battery? Even when the speaker is in use through the jack, the bluetooth pairing light blinks.

I have not found a way to do it either, but to stop the blinking light I pair it and then plug my device into it the headphone jack, it over rides the bluetooth when plugged in, so the battery does note drain from bluetooth and the dang light is solid instead of blinking.

No, you cannot turn off the Bluetooth pairing function, though this feature uses almost no power and will not cause the battery to prematurely deplete.

Idk but from my guessing just try running the aux cord through to your phone without turning on the speaker my wireless studios turn on without the bluetooth turning on when i just connect the aux to it so it could possibly work the same way

Yeap. You can choose off, on , and Bluetooth mode seperatly and just use a AUX cable from your phone to the device

When your mini Bose is not it use just click the forget this device button until you are ready to use or listen to music, movie etc. Once you have connected your mini Bose is simple to reconnect when ready to use! Thank you
