Can I use with an older iPod null

If the ipod has bluetooth you can use it wireless. If no blue tooth you will need a cable to connect it.

I don't have an IPod, but I assume if it is Bluetooth capable, you can use it.

U should be able to use this with any phone or tablet that has a Bluetooth set up

Yes. I have iPod 3, 4 and 5th gen and use them all with this speaker.

You can use it with all of the iPods that are Bluetooth capable.,.
