“Why can't I listen to mp3 files on my CD-R I exported wav files (which I could not hear on the Insignia) to mp3 via Windows Media Play and they do no play. Please advise.”

Please try again later.As per the operating instructions on page 15 under the “Troubleshooting ” section, for the Insignia NS-P5113 Portable FM Tuner MP3 CD Player |SKU:9139826 states that if a CD does not play or stops playing suddenly, the direct cause is that the MP3 files that were recorded on the CD by the customer are corrupt. It is most likely that the transferred WAV and/or MP3 files were corrupted during the recording process on your computer. The operating instructions recommend that in order to remedy this particular situation, you must be certain that the .WAV and/or MP3 files that are being burned to the CD-R audio disc are not corrupt. Lastly, you can try to burn a new CD-R disc with uncorrupted MP3 files on them and then attempt playback again on the Insignia NS-P5113 Portable MP3 CD Player. Good Luck.
